Job Type: Full-time, temp to perm Location: Salford Hours: 8:15 - 14:30 daily Pay: Between £125 - £175 per day, depending on experience The successful candidate will be joining a very large school with students from 11-16. The school is part of a large, multi-academy trust, so this is a great opportunity for both ECTs and seasoned teachers alike. ECTs are welcome to apply Applicants with QTS or QTLS only (Qualified teacher status) British-trained teachers and overseas-trained teachers who have eligibility to work in the UK will be considered but must have experience teaching in a UK-based classroom Must hold a mathematics degree OR have recent teaching experience in their field Awareness and understanding of the National Curriculum for mathematics across KS3 and KS4 The successful candidate: Can build strong positive relationships with colleagues and students alike Maintain a high level and standard of subject-specific knowledge to support the delivery of the curriculum. Will carry out intervention and support for underachieving students. Perform rigorous assessment of student progress, target setting and record keeping.
