We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS & Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant to join our team full-time. This role is ideal for someone passionate about early childhood education and eager to support young learners in their academic and personal development. As an EYFS & KS1 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the classroom teacher to create a positive and engaging learning environment, provide tailored support to students, and contribute to the smooth running of the classroom. --- Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the classroom teacher with preparation, and delivery of lessons.
* Provide individual and small-group support to students, ensuring they understand and engage with the learning material.
* Work one to one with children who require additional learning support, adapting resources as needed.
* Help manage classroom behavior, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Support students with literacy, numeracy, and other curriculum-based activities.
* Supervise students during playtime, lunch, and transitions between activities.
* Assist with setting up and organising classroom resources and displays.
* Support students’ social and emotional development, encouraging confidence and independence.
* Communicate effectively with teachers and school staff regarding student progress and well-being.

Qualifications & Experience: Essential:
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
* Experience working with young children.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A patient, caring, and proactive approach to supporting children’s learning.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Desirable:
* A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
* Knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and early childhood development.
* Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
