The East Riding Safeguarding Adults Board is a statutory partnership Board made up of a number of statutory and none statutory agencies working together to protect vulnerable adults from the risk of harm and abuse.
The Board has a small support function and we are looking to appoint a Training coordinator.
We are looking for a self-motivated, well organised and resilient individual. The preferred candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail and be adaptable to the requirements of learners. The ability to effectively design, deliver and present training sessions and learning events to various audiences using relevant modern technologies are the essential skills for this post. You will also have a sound working knowledge of vulnerable adults at risk of harm, current legislation and guidance on adult safeguarding and other areas of contextual safeguarding.
You will be an excellent team worker who is able to organise your own workload effectively overseeing the role of the SAB Training Officer.
The post is offered on a part-time basis 18.5 hours per week with the hours to be agreed.
