Job Advert Location Description
Woodthorpe Lodge is located in the village of Woodthorpe, near Chesterfield, Derbyshire. It offers residential support for eight males and females with a range of needs. This includes autistic people, individuals with a learning disability, and those with mental health needs. We are located off a main road, in a semi-rural location.
Our team are dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of the people we support by offering a holistic approach to care, enabling them to live a meaningful life. We want to help each person we support to have a healthy, happy and independent life, within a safe and welcoming home.
We can also support those who have complex needs.
Job Advert Role Description
Are you a caring and creative person who is passionate about making a real difference to someone’s life?
Both personal care and participation in activities are key parts of the Support Worker role, so energy, excellent communication and organisational skills are vital.
Previous experience as a Support Worker or Care Assistant would be beneficial, however it is not essential; all we ask is that you have a willingness to learn and the compassion to care for the people we support.
