PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT A PROJECT MANAGER ROLE IT IS A BAU ROLE The Interim People Systems Manager is end-to-end accountable for delivering efficient Enterprise services to support the People function. The client operates a number of systems supporting our People business teams. The purpose of the role is to ensure that systems operate efficiently, support our low-cost model, ensure that our platforms align to our business strategies and align to our technical architecture strategy. JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES Adoption Management > Managing adoption and change to maximise value and support user adoption, for instance user training & support, user experience management, user communication & awareness and knowledge sharing. Architecture Management > Supporting Platform design & architecture, security & compliance by design, systems integration, system optimisation & improvement, technology evaluation and selection, research & innovation management, in conjunction with the Platform Architecture Specialists, Technical Architects and Enterprise Architects Data Management > Ensuring data quality, data standardisation, data stewardship and master data management for People-related data. Engineering Management > Defining and overseeing Platform engineering & configuration, reliability engineering & performance, task & process automation, lifecycle management, quality assurance as well as maintenance, support & troubleshooting. Leadership Management > Talent Development o Developing Platform talent through defining effective development plans and assessing talent, building the right capabilities, and upskilling the team. IT Stakeholder Management > Driving stakeholder management, needs assessment, business relationship development as well as communication and coordination. Risk & Compliance Management > Driving technology risk management, delivery risk management, disaster recovery management, patch compliance management and supplier risk management. Service Integration Management > Driving service design, service catalogue management, service transition, service continuity management, incident and problem management, major incident management, capacity management, change management and knowledge management. Service Portfolio Management > Conducting delivery oversight, e.g., overseeing the technology Platform life cycle management and software delivery life cycle management. > Addressing demands and driving resource allocation & optimisation including budgets, workforce, supplier support and IT infrastructure. Supplier & Contract Management > Driving contract management, supplier governance, supplier performance management, i.e. tracking performance and executing the performance management process. Value & Performance Management > Supporting performance monitoring & reporting, value measurement and performing value optimisation and continuous improvement. > Driving our low-cost model by keeping operating expenses low, reviewing contract lengths aligned to technical and business strategy and driving low-cost options > Ensuring budget, forecast, actuals and budgetary deviations are updated on a regular basis for review with Finance. KEY SKILLS REQUIRED > At least five years of experience leading a People / HR IT department. > Experience in leadership responsibilities, including strategy, budgeting, and staffing. > Budget planning and financial management, preferably with showback and/or chargeback models. > Experience in IT governance and leadership within a large or complex organisation. > Awareness of people systems, how a people business function operates and current technology trends > Experience in maximising effectiveness of nearshore / offshore resource models and experience in managing and delivering through third-party suppliers, focusing on business outcomes and employee experience. > Data-savvy, strong data analysis skills and experience in applying AI / ML to solve large data challenges and / or to enhance the customer experience. > Excellent analytical, strategic conceptual thinking, strategic planning, and execution skills. > Demonstrated interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork and facilitation and ability to build consensus, make decisions based on many variables, and gain support for major initiatives. > Key Tech Skills: o Extensive experience with Workday HCM
