An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our well established and respected therapy team on Savernake ward. Savernake is a 30-bed IP rehabilitation ward treating individuals with a wide range of conditions and varying levels of rehabilitation.
This post will enable the successful applicant to develop both their clinical reasoning and treatment skills further as well as gaining experience across a wide range of clinical conditions. Support will be provided from the Senior Therapists and the wider team of Nurses, AHPs and Support workers.
As a Physiotherapist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centered care and services to support individuals and teams. Working within a collaborative environment, you will provide essential services tailored to meet the unique needs of those we serve.
Based at Marlborough Community Hospital, you will have the flexibility to work within a model that supports both on-site and hybrid working arrangements, depending on the nature of the role. Main Responsibility
The role of the Band 5 Physiotherapist is to provide, develop and deliver a specialised and skilled level of Physiotherapy intervention specific to the service, examples include delivering treatment interventions to frail older adults, neurological conditions, orthopaedic, amputees and may include home visits as required.
To provide safe, patient focused, effective and evidence-based Physiotherapy in collaboration with other team members and actively contribute to on-going service improvements.
To undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner, seeking clinical support when required and working within sphere of competence.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
1. Holds the necessary professional physiotherapist qualification and is registered with the HCPC.
2. Has experience working in a relevant Healthcare setting.
3. Demonstrates a commitment to high-quality service delivery and continuous improvement.
4. Possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with service users and colleagues.
5. Is able to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver integrated solutions.
6. A valid UK driving licence and access to a car are essential for this role.

1. Additional qualifications or training relevant to the role.
2. Experience working in a multi-disciplinary environment.
3. Knowledge of industry best practices and innovative service delivery models.
4. A desire to further professional development through additional training or qualifications.
