What you’ll do at work
* Assist the lead teacher in planning and delivering lessons.
* Help with the preparation of learning materials and resources.
* Support students in their learning activities and help them stay focused and engaged.
* Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional help.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Encourage student participation and promote confidence in learning.
* Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate student records and documentation.
* Assist in organizing classroom displays and resources.
* Help prepare reports and assessments as needed.
* Behaviour Management: Support the teacher in managing classroom behaviour and promoting positive conduct.
* Assist in implementing school policies and procedures related to student behaviour and safety.
* Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.
* Work towards relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
* Seek feedback from mentors and supervisors for continuous improvement.
