The Role
The Cyber Governance and Assurance Manager will be responsible for leading and coordinating cyber governance and assurance initiatives, to ensure the implementation of the security management system is managed and assured across all SPR Businesses. The role will be responsible for matrix management of Cyber-Governance & assurance leads across the functions of SPR.
What You’ll Be Doing
1. Ensure that cyber policies, procedures and rules are being adopted across the Business and support the definition and delivery of cyber security plans across; IT/OT audit, IT/OT general controls, Business continuity planning, GRC implementation, Ofgem reporting.
2. Help deliver cyber-resilient OT and IT, enabling a safe and reliable electricity supply to the grid, and act as part of the cyber resilience committee, working with stakeholders and making sure plans are executed efficiently.
3. Provide support in an ambitious security transformation programme to transparently reduce risk, achieve compliance with NIS regulations and deliver a cyber-resilient business.
4. Monitor and review regulatory updates and issues relative to pertinent security regulatory requirements and escalate findings appropriately.
5. Lead and coordinate cyber governance and assurance initiatives as defined by the Head of SPR GRC to ensure that cyber security risks are appropriately identified and managed.
6. Work as part of a global organisation directed by Corporate Security in Spain.
7. Lead the delivery of Global and Local Cyber Security tools and processes.
8. Liaise with other Cyber Security roles at other countries for information sharing and global strategy alignment.
9. Build and maintain strong relationships with Global and Local colleagues.
What We’re Looking For
1. Specialised knowledge and experience of Cyber Security as evidenced by relevant industry qualifications (e.g. GICSP, CISSP, CISM).
2. Experience of developing and leading Cyber Security system Management and Governance in an organisation of similar scope and scale to ScottishPower.
3. Knowledge in cyber security frameworks and standards as well as a deep understanding of cyber security regulations as they apply to a UK energy supplier.
4. Previous proven experience in defining cyber security governance strategies and developing and delivering associated services.
5. Proven experience in developing and delivering cyber management system improvement programmes.
6. Awareness of key legislation and regulation impacting the delivery of IT and OT Cyber Security in an energy utility.
7. Experienced in developing and communicating Cyber Security compliance.
