GSL Education has an exciting opportunity for a Science Teacher to join a Client Secondary School in York, North Yorkshire. Science Teacher Responsibilities: Deliver engaging KS3 and KS4 Science curricula, ensuring alignment with national standards and catering to diverse learning needs. Employ a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities. Plan and implement assessments to monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth. Address individual learning needs by offering additional support or enrichment opportunities where required. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, align teaching strategies, and create interdisciplinary projects that integrate science with other subjects. Science Teacher Requirements: PGCE in Secondary Science with QTS or an equivalent UK-recognised teaching qualification. Recent experience teaching Biology, Physics, and Chemistry at GCSE level; A-Level experience in these subjects is desirable but not essential. Strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management skills, and the ability to inspire curiosity and enthusiasm for science. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
