Your responsibilities
* The Loan Specialist is part of the Medical Service Business Unit (MSBU) comprising of Field Service Engineers, Service Contract Sales, Uptime Support, Service Engineering and Field Service Coordination.
As a Loan Specialist, you will have overall responsibility of managing the service loan inventory, ensuring it is utilised to its full capacity, extending the quality of service delivered to the customer and to maximising efficiency and profitability.
You will be skilled in building strong customer relationships, and compiling and presenting complex data, to continuously improve the Service loan performance.
* Reporting and Data Analysis
Implement and work to all applicable regulatory and quality requirements.
Regularly review and ensure achievement of KPIs indicating the strategic and operational performance of Loan function across the Region.
Present performance and budget data, tell the story with data, to internal stakeholders.
Deliver accurate work demand forecasting and appropriate resource utilization to allow effective delivery of Loan services in a consistent way across the Region.
Budgeting and forecasting inventory as part of the annual planning process including additions and disposals.
Provide robust and accurate reporting of loan performance to the business within agreed timescales.
Manipulation of large data sets using Excel and Qlikview.
Work alongside Business Systems to develop reports.
Undertake ad hoc analysis as and when required.
* Customer Experience
Continuously review process and direction to ensure we are adapting to changing customer and business needs and review trends to monitor and improve operational performance.
Set and deploy cross-team objectives, action planning and support CSM improvements.
Overall responsibility for and management of loan inventory, including audits and ensuring all servicing is completed and up to date.
Proactive prioritisation of customer repairs based on uptime and loan inventory projections.
Proactive contribution to operational meetings and customer visits.
Committed to driving continuous improvement within the loans service delivery function.
Qualifications
* Relevant Customer Service &/ or Business Administration qualification – desirable though not essential.
* Previous experience working in a complex administrative role essential.
* Experience of managing and delivering process improvements and knowledge of continuous improvement.
* Experienced in working with and analysing large data sets.
* Prior experience being a part of a customer support team and understanding the needs of a customer.
* Experience of collaborating with peers and forming agreements across cross-functional teams.
* Demonstrates high levels of integrity in dealings with external & internal customers.
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
* Experience of stock management advantageous.
* Experience of working to and achieving targets.
* Basic knowledge of medical and surgical products advantageous.
