As a Project / Bid Manager, you would be involved with the full lifecycle of projects, from defining specific tender strategies and submitting competitive and compliant tenders, through to managing the delivery of projects, in collaboration with clients, contractors, stakeholders, and our project teams. The key responsibilities will include a selection of the following points, depending on your experience and the position you take within our team:
1. Lead the preparation and submission of high-quality tenders and proposals, which are competitive and compliant with legal, regulatory, and company requirements.
2. Ensure effective communication and coordination between sales, tendering, BD, and other departments (Business Streams and Disciplines).
3. Lead bid or project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure activities are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards.
4. Develop and execute project plans, including scope, schedule, cost, risk management, and communication plans.
5. Stay updated with industry trends and innovations to drive business growth.
6. Ensure compliance with nuclear industry regulations, standards, and safety requirements.
7. Communicate project status and issues to stakeholders, including project team members, clients, and senior management.
8. Identify and mitigate project risks.
9. Manage contracts, including claims and variations.
10. Develop strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements:
1. Bachelor's or master's in a relevant Engineering discipline.
2. 10 years of experience, including experience working within the nuclear industry.
3. Project or Bid Management experience, preferably for major projects in highly regulated industries, e.g., nuclear.
4. Commercial acumen to understand client and tender requirements and to drive competitive tenders.
5. Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire project teams.
6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
7. Agile and self-motivated, with a focus on improving personal and team performance and able to generate innovative outcomes to challenges.
8. You enjoy new challenges and are keen to learn and willing to take responsibility whilst also wanting to support others within our team.
9. Proficiency in French or Dutch is not mandatory but is beneficial.
