Key Responsibilities:
* Manage all aspects of the site operations for the steel and cladding elements of the project, ensuring timely completion and adherence to the highest standards of quality and safety.
* Oversee day-to-day site activities, including coordinating subcontractors, managing site teams, and ensuring all tasks are completed according to the project schedule.
* Collaborate closely with senior management and clients, providing regular updates on project progress and any potential risks or issues.
* Ensure that the site complies with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Review and approve technical drawings and specifications, ensuring accurate interpretation and execution of the work.
* Monitor the procurement and delivery of materials, ensuring stock levels are maintained and project costs are managed effectively.
* Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders, including contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
* Conduct regular site inspections, ensuring work is completed to the highest standards and in line with project specifications.
* Manage site records, including progress reports, health and safety documentation, and other key project-related paperwork.
About You:
* Proven experience as a Site Manager in the steel and cladding industry, ideally on large-scale industrial or commercial projects.
* A strong track record of long-term employment with reputable companies – we are looking for someone with stability in their career and a demonstrated commitment to their role.
* Possess relevant qualifications, such as an SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme), CSCS card, First Aid, and other industry-specific certifications.
* Exceptional knowledge of steel and cladding systems, with the ability to oversee technical aspects of the work and ensure high-quality delivery.
* Strong leadership skills, with experience managing teams and subcontractors effectively.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
