Bank Physiotherapy Technician/Student Physiotherapist (2nd/3rd year)
Fitzwilliam Hospital - Peterborough
We are seeking to recruit a suitably experienced Physiotherapy Technician/2nd or 3rd year student to join our pool of bank clinicians.
Hours of work will be on weekends, rota'd in advance; however, there will be the opportunity for additional hours during the week subject to the applicant's availability.
You will be supporting qualified therapists on a busy Orthopaedic inpatient ward and will be required to deliver patient treatments, working independently; teaching and practicing transfers and exercises, progressing mobility with appropriate walking aids following guidance and support from a physiotherapist.
The successful candidate should be motivated, organized with a positive can-do attitude. They must show the ability to be flexible within their working day and demonstrate initiative with their caseload.
Proven orthopaedic experience is essential for this role, as is the ability to work as part of a team and independently.
