Brief Description:
To support all processes for sampling, dispensing, and picking at KSP (Kent Science Park) using well defined and documented processes/procedures while being in compliance with H&S and cGMP requirements. Management/interaction with third party organisations such as CMOs and/or Partners is required where applicable. Monitor and report dispensary performance and utilisation while actively identifying and mitigating risks to continued stock supply.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
1. Operates in accordance with the GW corporate values of being patient driven, passionate, innovative, collaborative, accountable, having integrity, and achieving excellence.
2. The job holder is responsible for maintaining cGxP and H&S knowledge applicable to the job.
3. The job holder must refer to the EHSS Policy (EHSS_P.01) to understand the current EHSS responsibilities for the role.
4. Support and carry out all activities/processes within the scope of dispensing/sampling/production picking.
5. Support and carry out activities/processes OTIF in compliance with cGMP and H&S requirements.
6. The dispensary location is subject to visits by senior management, external bodies, regulatory authorities, etc. Audit readiness must be adhered to at all times.
7. Completing where applicable the ‘controlled drug log’ and producing annual figures, liaising with other departments to ensure figures are correct.
8. Support all quality and health and safety documentation associated with the operation of the dispensing/sampling at KSP, such as SOPs, ABLs, QRAs, RAs, etc.
9. Support CI (continuous improvement) including risk identification, management, and mitigation.
10. Use of all electronic systems associated with the business – such as ERP, eQMS, etc.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
1. Support all dispensary activities, including receiving raw materials from suppliers, picking materials to internal customers, maintaining stock records, and posting activity in the ERP system.
2. Participate in project teams as necessary to achieve company goals and objectives.
3. Work in accordance with required KPIs.
4. Support day-to-day management of all associated tasks within the dispensary and picking operations.
5. Monitor and record data within dispensary operations.
6. Clean the dispensary and maintain audit facility readiness.
7. Identify and participate in appropriate supply chain operational and continuous improvement projects.
8. Support any investigations associated with the department at KSP.
9. Demonstrate continuous improvement behaviors.
10. Work flexibly regarding working hours to ensure all activities are delivered OTIF.
11. Carry out work in a way that will not adversely affect health, safety, security, or the environment, and report any shortcomings in GW arrangements.
12. Support health and safety, hygiene, and security in the workplace environment, ensuring all risk assessments, COSHH assessments, and MSDS are current and available.
13. Support the Supply Chain team in being available for out-of-hours call outs for plant alarms.
14. Execute additional/other tasks as required to meet departmental objectives.
Required/Preferred Education and Licenses:
1. Transferrable knowledge of supply chain functions and/or dispensary activities.
2. High levels of self-motivation and exceptional commitment to the success of team members and the company as a whole.
3. Interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
4. Demonstrates a can-do, motivational attitude.
5. Attention to detail and delivery of accurate data as required.
6. Proficiency in IT systems and software including ERP/eQMS software and MS Office.
7. Flexibility to work in a demanding environment.
8. Ability to change direction and handle multiple tasks regularly.
9. A natural willingness to share ideas and information and assist colleagues.
10. Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred but not essential.
