Sales Development Representative (SDR)

Role Overview:
As our SDR, your role is critical in ensuring our sales process is seamless, efficient, and successful. You'll directly support our Account Executive (AE) by prepping thorough, tailored demo materials, managing CRM data, engaging with prospects immediately after sales meetings, and strategically sourcing leads through relational lead generation within our networks and those of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Pre Demo Qualification:
You will research and contact prospects ahead of discovery calls to ensure that are qualified buyers.
2. Demo Preparation:
Research prospects thoroughly before each scheduled demo.
Customise presentations and demo materials specifically tailored to the prospect’s pain points and needs.
Ensure CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) records are up-to-date, accurate, and insightful.
3. Post-Meeting Follow-ups:
Quickly and professionally follow-up with prospects after meetings.
Schedule subsequent meetings, manage calendars, and handle necessary correspondence.
Maintain accurate notes on next steps and ensure smooth handover back to AE.
4. Relational Lead Generation:
Leverage internal and client networks to identify high-potential leads.
Build and nurture relationships to facilitate warm introductions and referrals.
Proactively engage with industry groups, LinkedIn communities, and events to uncover relational opportunities.
Typical Day:
A typical working day might look like:
1. Prepare for New Demos:
Review newly booked meetings for the Account Executive and compile tailored demo materials.
Conduct research on prospect backgrounds and challenges to ensure a targeted presentation.
2. Follow Up with Pipeline Deals:
Reach out promptly to prospects post-meeting to address questions, schedule follow-ups, or gather feedback.
Update CRM with notes and clear action steps.
3. Identify High Potential Network Leads:
Dedicate time to reviewing internal and client networks to identify promising new leads.
Engage in strategic outreach and nurturing to secure warm introductions and referrals.
4. Audit and Optimise Account Executive’s Calendar:
Regularly review and optimise the AE’s calendar to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Adjust appointments and proactively manage scheduling conflicts to facilitate more deal closures.
Company Working Style:
Our company operates on a hybrid working model, with four days spent in the office and one day working remotely each week, typically Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm. We offer flexibility and can increase hybrid days and reduce in-office time down to one day per week for the right candidate.

* Experienced or interested in outbound sales processes.
* Comfortable with high-volume communication and multitasking.
* Proactive and able to identify opportunities through networking and relationship-building.
Required Qualifications:
* 1+ years in a sales support, customer success, SDR, or similar role preferred (not required if you're sharp, motivated, and eager to learn!)
* Experience in relationship-driven sales or networking roles highly valued.
* Proficiency with MS Office, Google Workspace, and CRM platforms.
