Assistant Head Teacher Salary: L13 to L17 (£66,919-£73,819) per annum Contract: Full time, permanent from September 2025 Location: Toot Hill School This is a fantastic opportunity for an existing Senior Leader who can demonstrate they are ready and able to successfully take on the additional demands and responsibilities of an Assistant Head Teacher role. The successful candidate will not only have the opportunity to model and support strategies to promote high standards of behaviour and respect for value of learning, you will set a culture of high expectations and encourage collaboration from staff and students on raising achievement in the school. You will support school improvement to ensure our school is transformational for all. We are specifically seeking candidates with a track record in securing the highest standards of teaching and learning in a school setting. You will have the ability to play a leading role in the school improvement planning process and to identify key areas of strength and weakness in the school. There is flexibility for the successful candidate to focus either on quality of education/curriculum development or pastoral depending on their strengths. As our Assistant Head Teacher, you will be a visible leader around the site overseeing the operation of duty teams and attending extra-curricular events. You will be expected to understand the importance of accountability and to support the governing body and staff in meeting their responsibilities to account for the performance of the school.
