About the Role: As a Teacher of PSHE, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons that focus on students’ personal, social, and emotional development. You will be guiding and supporting students in areas such as relationships, mental health, wellbeing, and life skills. You will create an engaging and supportive environment that fosters self-awareness, empathy, and resilience, equipping students with the tools to navigate their future successfully. PSHE Teacher Responsibilities: Plan and deliver PSHE lessons across various year groups, focusing on personal, social, health, and emotional education. Create a positive, inclusive, and safe environment for all students. Promote discussions around key life skills, mental health, relationships, and wellbeing. Support students in understanding key issues such as bullying, healthy relationships, personal safety, and citizenship. Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and supporting their development. Collaborate with other teaching staff to deliver a holistic curriculum that supports students’ personal growth. Foster a strong sense of self-confidence, responsibility, and respect for others in all students. Maintain accurate records of student progress and report on achievements to parents and school leadership. Contribute to whole-school initiatives and well-being programs. Requirements of a PSHE Teacher: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is a must. A degree in PSHE or relevant is required. Experience in teaching PSHE or related subjects is desirable. A passion for PSHE education and making a difference in students’ lives. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to inspire and motivate students through engaging lessons.
