This is an excellent opportunity to work on large-scale systems, microservices, and high-traffic applications, solving real world scalability and performance challenges. Based in Manchester city centre (2 days a week in office), this role is paying between £60k and £65k 10% bonus THE ROLE:You will be working with an established cross-functional team in re-factoring and migrating back-office applications from a monolithic architecture to a scalable microservices-based system. This will involve rebuilding components from the ground up, with the the opportunity to explore different approaches and technologies. There is also a road-map of new features that need to be developed using .Net 6 and Blazor.Requirements: Detailed knowledge and experience working with C#, .NET Core, WebAPI's and SQL server. Prior experience with WinForms, WPF (you will not be using these but knowledge of them is crucial to effectively disassemble the application to facilitate a modernised rebuild) Confidence to make proposals and decisions Solid knowledge of design patterns and OOP concepts Expertise in performance optimization Experience working in an Agile or Kanban environment.
