Mobile BMS Engineer\n\n£50,000 - £56,700\n\nCompany Car\n\nBirmingham / Telford\n\nBrief\n\nMobile BMS Engineer needed for a well-known Facilities Management organisation based in the Birmingham / Telford area who are looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded Mobile BMS Engineer that takes pride in their work with an in-depth knowledge & experience with Trend, Tridium Controls/Niagara/Distech/Siemens.\n\nThe successful candidate must have excellent working knowledge of the electrical industry and have a keen interest in becoming a BMS Engineer. The candidates should also hold either their City & Guild / BTEC or NVQ in an electrical field.\n\nBenefits\n\nSalary: £55,000 - £56,700 per annum\nCompany Car\n24 day's holiday\nVariable annual bonus based 5-15%\nPension Plan\nCareer Progression \n\nWhat the role entails:\n\nThe role of BMS Service Engineer will include carrying out a number of tasks on contracted customer sites, including PFI Schools, PFI Hospitals, Government Estates and MOD sites. Your day to day will include:\n\nInstalling, configuring and BMS components and equipment, including sensors, controllers, actuators, and software systems.\nCarrying out maintenance checks on Trend, Tridium and Distech BMS's on our various sites.\nReactive call out rota will be worked (additional financial benefit included for being on call and attending)\nProvision of specialist technical assistance and support to clients regarding their BMS systems.\nIdentifying opportunities for improvement/remedial works to improve the performance of the BMS's for our clients\nPreparing proposals and quoting of works as required \n\nWhat experience you need to be the successful Mobile BMS Engineer:\n\nCity & Guild / BTEC / NVQ Electrical.\nExtensive knowledge & experience of BMS / HVAC.\nKnowledge & experience with Trend, Tridium Controls/Niagara/Distech/Siemens.\nExcellent working knowledge of the electrical industry.\nAbility to read and interpret Electrical & Mechanical schematic diagrams.\nUnderstanding of IT networks\nGood working knowledge of AutoCAD\nFull UK driving licence\nControls training / experience.\nExperience with fault finding in electrical panels\nDBS vetting and potential BPSS vetting\nExcellent written and communication skillsThis really is a fantastic opportunity for a Mobile BMS Engineer to progress their career.
