Main duties of the job The ideal candidate will be appropriately qualified with 3 years' experience working as a Practice Nurse within General Practice and be confident in all skills including Cytology, Baby Immunisations, contraception and Travel Vaccinations, management of infection control and experienced in reviewing chronic diseases and will ideally have additional experience in Diabetes, Asthma and COPD management. Women's health including HRT management as well as coil and implant fitting would be desired but not essential. Applicants must be IT literate and knowledge of the EMIS clinical Computer System would be desirable but not essential. Training will be provided.
