RM Recruit are working with a Staffordshire based GBP100m T/O company to recruit an Interim Finance Assistant for their team.
With an initial duration until the end of the year, and with Hybrid working in place, this role requires an individual with Accounts Payable acumen, an analytical skill set, and a focus on accuracy.
The remit of the post will include, but not be limited to:
1. Creating and processing Purchase Orders as requested.
2. Entering invoices against Purchase Orders on Sage and preparing supplier accounts for BACS payments.
3. Supplier Statement Reconciliations.
4. Carrying out/assisting with month and year end procedures for specified cost centers including, but not limited to, Purchase Order reconciliation and cleardown, prepayments and accruals, income tracking, monthly outturn calculations.
5. Receipting all income received and reconciling cashless payments.
6. Assisting with month end processes.
The successful candidate will possess at least 6 months of similar experience and be confident with accurate data entry (Invoices and PO Numbers) within an accounting environment. Intermediate Excel skills are required including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and XLOOKUP, subtotals etc. Experience of Sage 200 or Sage Intacct is desirable.
