We are seeking a Digital Merchandising Executive to join our dynamic eCommerce team.
In this role, you will take ownership of and coordinate new product introductions to your assigned categories. You will collaborate with merchandising colleagues, the commercial team, content writers, media production, and SEO experts to optimise the user journey for customers navigating to these products. Using insights and analytics, you will understand customer needs and pain points, taking action to simplify navigation and drive better conversion of categories.
The role will have Hybrid working, consisting of 3 days in the Avonmouth office and 2 days working from home.
Key Accountabilities:
* Product Launch Coordination: Take ownership of and coordinate new product introductions, ensuring they are launched on schedule with all relevant information/assets across UK, IE, ANZ, and other relevant sites.
* User Journey Optimisation: Use digital tools including Adobe Analytics and GA4 to analyse and optimise the user journey.
* Collaboration: Work in partnership with merchandising partners, SEO, Commercial, and the category copywriter to improve the user journey and organic ranking.
* Campaign Alignment: Align with category and marketing initiatives, such as promotional campaigns.
* Website Management: Manage ad-hoc changes to the website, including delivery info, discontinued products, and asset management.
* Performance Reporting: Drive targeted results across categories; run and maintain reports to assess and improve category performance regularly.
* Stakeholder Communication: Monitor, record progress & issues, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Capabilities, Skills, and Experience Required:
* Demonstrable digital merchandising or digital marketing experience.
* Ability to interrogate data and make data-led decisions.
* Working SEO knowledge.
* Strong understanding of the online customer journey.
* Experienced Microsoft Office user – advanced Excel.
* Keenness to learn; staying informed of product innovations and range development opportunities.
* Ability to work independently, managing own workload whilst sharing updates and contributing to the broader team.
* Strong communication skills and relationship-building across various teams and stakeholders of all levels.
* Desirable: Analytics experience with tools such as Adobe, Google Analytics, Glassbox.
