Description
* Oversee all payroll duties within the organisation
* Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates
* Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of payroll transactions
* Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices
* Coordinate with the HR department to verify total hours worked for each employee
* Facilitate audits by providing records and documentation to auditors
* Identify and recommend updates to payroll processing software, systems, and procedures
* Perform other duties as assigned
Profile
A successful Payroll Advisor should have:
* A degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
* A solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices
* An ability to handle confidential information
* Strong communication skills, with proficiency in English
* A high degree of professionalism and a strong work ethic
* Strong computer skills and expertise with payroll software
