Youth Support Worker - Middlesbrough
The Junction is recruiting for Youth Support Worker – Middlesbrough
Hours: 2 hours 25 minutes per week (Monday) or 4 hours 50 minutes per week (Monday and Wednesday).
Contract Type: Fixed term April 2026 with a possible extension.
Are you passionate about empowering young people to thrive in Middlesbrough? The Junction, a vibrant charity amplifying youth voices, seeks an enthusiastic and dedicated Youth Support Worker to join our team.
In this rewarding role, you'll work alongside a Lead Group Worker to make a real difference in the lives of young people. You'll co-facilitate an engaging weekly session filled with diverse activities designed to nurture creativity, build positive relationships, and foster a sense of belonging.

As a Youth Support Worker at The Junction, you'll:
1. Support young people during activities, offering individual attention and encouragement.
2. Create a safe and inclusive atmosphere where everyone feels valued and respected.
3. Proactively identify and report any concerns or incidents to ensure the well-being of all involved.
4. Contribute to a positive and dynamic team through participation in meetings and supervision sessions.
5. Gain valuable experience and skills in youth work while making a lasting impact on the lives of young people in Middlesbrough.
