DN Colleges are recruiting an Administrator within the Student Information Services team to work from Doncaster College, you will play a key role in managing student data and providing administrative support. Your work will ensure the effective management of the student data lifecycle, from enrolment to achievement, while delivering a professional and customer-focused service to both internal and external stakeholders.
This post is part-time, working 30 hours per week (days to be agreed).
Pro rata salary - £18,870.42 - £19,931.83 (Pro rata of £22,330 - £23,586)
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
1. Data Management: Input and maintain student data accurately and timely using the college’s student data systems.
2. Enrolment and Maintenance: Handle new enrolments, continuing enrolments, and all relevant year-end processes.
3. Exams Administration: Manage registrations, exams entries, and certification processes.
4. Timetabling and Course Planning: Assist with course set-up and timetabling activities.
5. Customer Service: Provide high-quality customer service to students and stakeholders.
6. Team Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a team and support the training and development of peers.
7. Reporting: Assist in reporting on course and student records to ensure accurate and complete information.
8. Process Improvement: Contribute to business transformation by simplifying processes and supporting automation.
Essential Criteria:
9. Qualifications: Level 2 or higher qualification in a relevant discipline (or willingness to work towards a Level 3 qualification). GCSE English and Maths at grade C/4 or higher.
10. Experience: Recent and relevant experience in a student data-related role. Experience using IT tools efficiently, including Microsoft applications and databases.
11. Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to work as part of a team and manage a demanding workload. High level of numeracy and organisational skills. Customer-focused with excellent interpersonal skills.
