Your role
Rethink Mental Illness is hiring BANK Mental Health Recovery Workers to join our friendly team at Cavendish Lodge, Leamington Spa. Our organization is dedicated to helping those severely impacted by mental illness, emphasizing respect, dignity, and equity.
Cavendish Lodge provides 24-hour support and recovery services, assisting with daily living skills, personal support, finances, and rehabilitation. It is a CQC-registered Nursing Home service for individuals with severe and enduring mental illness.
Overview of the role
As a Mental Health Recovery Worker, you will support individuals affected by mental illness to regain confidence and participate in social and workplace activities. You will work closely with service users to help them achieve personal goals and access support on their recovery journey.
Essential Skills and Experience
* Experience supporting people with mental illness or providing care/support services in social care settings, paid or voluntary.
* Transferable life/work experience relevant to the role.
* Good listening skills, empathy, patience, kindness, and willingness to learn.
