AtBluebell Wood Childrens Hospice we care for children and young adults withlife-shortening and life-threatening conditions. We are support around 300families both in our hospice and in their homes.
Oursupport services are wide ranging and bespoke to each family, including end oflife care, symptom management, Post death care,Planned short breaks, counselling, sibling support groups, musictherapy, Phsyiotherapy and much much more. We work with staffing ratiosthat allow us to deliver a high quality, holistic model of care which istailored for each child and family.
We are currently seekingchildrens nurses with post registration experience, who want to be part of our in house Care will be working as part of a supportive team consisting ofNurses,Nurse Associates,care support workers and allied health professionals.Working as part of a team you will provide a high standard of holistic care and be able to balance opportunities for children to experience play, social interaction and learning alongside managing the diverse nursing needs of the children staying with you are looking for a working environment where every day is different, where in addition to providing direct nursing care you could also be planning days out,visiting wildlife Park ,creating a undersea worldand having an ice cream in the garden then this could be for you!

From1st April 2022 all direct care provision and/or close contact roles at BluebellWood Children's Hospice require full COVID vaccination as a Condition ofDeployment. The role of Nurse falls into thiscategory.
The requirements:
To fulfil the role effectively you must be NMC registered, have 2years post registration experience and be able to work flexibly and collaborativelyacross the care services.
