Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 (depending on experience)

Job Title: Operations Executive
If you are someone who is enthusiastic about travel and looking for an exciting, dynamic and challenging role, we’re seeking a hands-on, proactive Operations Executive to join our friendly team and help us continue to grow. This is a varied, fast-paced role, ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail, who is highly organised with excellent communication skills. We need someone who has the ability to multitask efficiently and prioritise their workload to ensure our holidays run smoothly from start to finish. You will be looking after and taking responsibility for each tour and departure date, liaising and building relationships with all of our suppliers; hotels, walking guides, resort representatives, coach companies and excursion bookings.

Your Role and Responsibilities:
In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, helping to organise and manage our tours. Your day-to-day tasks will include:
1. Confirming bookings with hotels, coach companies, and attractions, whilst maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and clients.
2. Planning tour schedules, including costing and organising travel dates.
3. Acting as Duty Manager on a rota basis, providing on-call support to clients while they are on tour.
4. Compiling essential client information, such as rooming lists, flight manifests and tour itineraries.
5. Briefing and debriefing tour managers/walking guides before and after each tour, and gathering client feedback - relaying this to hotels, walking guides and tour managers to help improve our holidays.
6. Working closely with the Managing Director to contract hotels and set up tour dates.
7. Conducting overseas inspection visits to ensure our hotels and suppliers meet our high standards.
8. Ensuring health and safety compliance across our operations.
9. Managing our client database, assisting with maintaining records to ensure customer details are accurate and up to date.
10. Representing Involved Holidays at travel trade events, such as the World Travel Market and Destinations.
Essential Qualities:
1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English including spelling, grammar and punctuation.
2. Previous experience within the travel industry.
3. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
4. High attention to detail.
5. Proficiency with Microsoft/Google Office (Word/Docs, Excel/Sheets etc).
6. A genuine passion for travel and creating memorable experiences for others.
7. A team player who is ready to get stuck in and help wherever needed.
Desirable Qualities:
1. Express an interest in wanting to travel to our holiday destinations to improve your product knowledge.
2. Familiarity with key UK and European destinations.
Experience:
• Operations: 2 years (required)
• Travel Industry: 2 years (preferred)
