Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
1. System design and support pre & post-sale to a high level to include CCTV, Intruder, Access Control & Fire
2. System testing and feedback in an organised and efficient manner in the fields of CCTV, Intruder, Access Control & Fire
3. Create supporting technical material to aid system design, customer technical material, staff awareness, PDF, power point, video content, Excel Etc.
4. Identifying and providing solutions to improve business processes.
5. Attending & supporting at business events
6. System set-up for customer acceptance testing or integration work.
7. Identify training needs and requirements for the sales and technical team.
8. Travelling to site to resolve issues as and when required (should be infrequent)
9. Attend product meetings where input on new product delivery will be expected.
10. Feedback to the Operations manager any potential issues that needs attention.
11. Attend site where required for pre & post-sales support that will include multiple technologies and integrations.
12. Work with the marketing team as and when required to provide technical insight.
13. Work closely with the sales team managers/leaders to develop plans to support and deliver skills and knowledge training of the team.
14. Manage customer expectations and complaints, take ownership of issues with the ability to see these through to the end.
15. Perform pre-configuration of systems before equipment is sent to customers, technical support via Phone or in-person, assist the RMA team with testing and product software updating as required.
16. Any other duties as necessary in the role.
17. Very good communication skills; written and verbal.
18. Multi-skilled across all disciplines to ensure a high level of support to include CCTV, Access control, Fire systems, Intruder systems and IoT.
19. Good problem solver and think creatively (outside of the box).
20. Previous field experience installing, fault finding and design.
21. Able to work across multiple platforms and effectively integrate products.
22. Experienced in communicating to manufacturers to provide feedback & raise potential issues.
23. Excellent customer service, have a practical flexible approach as required to provide a satisfactory outcome.
24. Holding a valid UK driving license is highly preferred.
25. Must have a good understanding of IT & IP systems.
26. Understand current industry standards & practices.
27. Remote working where required.
28. Positive & confident.
29. Adaptable to change.
30. Highly driven and motivated individual.
31. Able to take ownership, be accountable and take responsibility to deliver an industry leading technical experience.
32. Able to work within a team environment as well as on an individual basis.
33. Able to work to effective deadlines.
34. Able to work outside normal office hours if required.
35. High level of technical knowledge of security systems including CCTV, Access control, Intruder, Fire systems and IoT.
36. Must be able to commute to the Manchester office.
