About the role
As part of Omni-Sales Excellence team (OX), Global Route-to-Market (RTM) Senior Manager is responsible for identifying and solving country-specific sales and commercial challenges. This could be a great transition role out of consulting into industry, providing an opportunity to understand the inner-workings of a FTSE 100 FMCG company before stepping directly into a commercial role. The expectation is that after 2-3 years in the RTM team, the Senior Manager would have the option to move into a local market execution role (with P&L responsibility), or into a Director role within the central Global teams.
Your responsibilities
As a Senior Manager you will be responsible for:
* Developing the strategy: forming hypotheses, synthesising conclusions, and developing presentations to senior management.
* With the support of a Senior Analyst, leading the planning and execution of analysis to derive organisational and commercial recommendations based on ROI models from attained data sources, utilising the company’s defined Route-To-Market methodology to drive recommendations.
* Helping to drive change through clear implementation plans and follow-up of the agreed market action plans.
* Leading and coaching the local project team throughout the projects, as well as taking direct responsibility for the coaching and development of Senior Analyst(s) within the RTM team.
* Supporting the building of organisational structures and work plans that deliver efficient Route-To-Market strategies for Field Sales, Key Account and Trade Marketing organisations.
The experience we're looking for
We are looking for experienced top-tier consultants or former consultants with industry experience at top FMCG companies. Specifically, they will exhibit:
* Strong analytical skills with ability to problem solve, develop strategies, tactics and to translate opportunities into measurable implementation.
* Results oriented, entrepreneurial and self-motivating mindset.
* Leadership and interpersonal skills capable of building strong working relationships within a multi-cultural organisation.
* Proven experience in project management and systematic analysis.
* Strong commercial understanding of business issues/opportunities.
* Strong communication skills, both written and oral (in English).
* Command of a second relevant language would be preferred.
International travel will be required when allowed. Overall travel is estimated to be 25-30% and could be to any country that Reckitt has a commercial operation.
