As a Visitor Experience Assistant (VEA), you’ll be an essential part of our venue operations. You’ll be delivering fantastic customer service across our Alton venues, the Curtis Museum and the Allen Gallery, which is about to undergo a major redevelopment. You will be responsible for upholding the highest front of house standards, providing leadership and direction to our volunteers as well as consistently providing excellent customer service and ensuring our venues are presented in their best possible light. A bit about you You will be a confident verbal communicator and you’ll excel at making others feel welcome and valued. You’ll be comfortable handling all aspects of venue operations, ensuring a fantastic visitor experience. A keen eye for detail and a drive to give fantastic customer service is key as well as the ability to motivate, drive and guide others. You’ll be a supportive team player, always willing to jump in and lend a hand, but also happy to work on your own initiative when necessary, with support from the venue team. You’ll often be working autonomously so drive and passion will be key.
