About the Role
Our client are looking for a detail-oriented Finance Assistant to manage day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee financial processes and bookkeeping
* Process invoices and handle payroll data (Sage 50)
* Prepare monthly management reports and year-end accounts
* Reconcile credit cards, expenses, and project disbursements
* Manage online payments and credit control
* Ensure compliance with financial approvals and internal controls
* Support colleagues, clients, and suppliers with finance queries
* Assist with general administrative tasks as needed
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
* Strong Microsoft Excel & Office 365 skills
* Solid knowledge of finance admin & bookkeeping principles
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Desirable:
* Experience with Sage 50 (Accounting & Payroll)
* Qualified
* Familiarity project management software
* Experience in construction
