Responsibilities and Duties: Maintain and execute routine administrative duties and assist COMSEC account Managers with general filing. Receive training from the CAM in the physical security and administrative responsibilities associated with COMSEC materiel. Execute routine administrative duties and assist CAMs with general file maintenance. Maintain Two Person Integrity (TPI) requirements after security containers containing Top Secret keying materiel marked CRYPTO have been opened by authorized personnel. Assist with page checks and entering amendments and corrections in COMSEC-related publications. Sign receipt, inventory, and destruction reports, as a witness only. Assist in the placement of status markings on COMSEC material. Accompany/assist personnel in maintaining TPI when delivering, picking up and processing COMSEC materiel. Adhere to all policies and procedures related to Classified Communications Security material. Prepare and maintain command instructions and Standard Operating Procedures relating to the proper storage, handling, accountability, destruction, and reporting of COMSEC material for Commander, Helicopter Sea Combat Wing, Atlantic (CHSCWL) and all Local Elements. Perform necessary COMSEC related tasks to support COMSEC mission requirements for the organization as requested by the COMSEC Account Manager. Qualifications A minimum of 4 years of EKMS experience in the proper handling and accountability of crypto-graphic material. Completed or able to complete the applicable portions of the latest version of NAVEDTRA 43462-2 (required for uniformed United States Navy (USN) and United States Coast Guard (USCG), service-specific, or organizational/command equivalent training program. Receive an appointment in writing from the current Commanding Officer. Ability to load applicable crypto devices i.e., CIKs, KIKs, and encryption devices. Ability to properly maintain accountability inventory and destruction reports. Ability to troubleshoot and repair ancillary power systems and low voltage power systems.
