You’ll be supporting Daikin UK’s marketing campaigns and customer engagement strategy by developing, coordinating and scheduling content to optimise our social media presence, engage effectively with all audiences and report on results in order to support the overall business objectives. You will: Manage Daikin UK’s social media presence on Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube and other platforms Develop and manage a social media content plan, utilising source content from Daikin Europe as well as content generated by Daikin UK and its creative agencies. Adapt campaigns, PR, and internal communications content for social media, collaborating with PR agencies and internal stakeholders React to social media opportunities effectively, by responding swiftly to adhoc opportunities, news and events and participating in emerging conversations Schedule social media content on Brandwatch social suite to optimise the frequency and diversity of social media content Deliver effective community management of social media platforms Monitor social media activity to ensure appropriate use of channels and protect the Daikin brand. Report on social media platforms to provide data-led insights about audience engagement, trending topics, media reach, in order to optimise performance of our social channels. Develop creative content / artwork solutions and case study content Attend events to create imagery and video content (live and recorded) for roll out across all internal and external communications channels (web, intranet, social) The Ideal Candidate: You will have a degree level qualification in business, marketing or communications along with at least two years’ experience within Marketing and/or a Communications type role, ideally working within a technical product sector. You will also have: The ability to manage relationships and project costings from external agencies and suppliers Good financial planning/budget management skills. The ability to work independently to deliver results in a busy, pressured work environment Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written. A strong eye for detail to ensure communications are accurate, relevant and without errors.
