Responsibilities
Make an impact as a Resident Site Engineer – P&G, Skelmersdale. Working rotating 8-hour shifts Monday to Friday (6-2 / 2-10 / 7-3) NO NIGHTS. Salary dependent on experience, plus excellent company benefits to include company contributory pension scheme and private healthcare.
* Electrical and mechanical breakdown and planned preventative maintenance on a variety of automated machinery, to include dock leveller, packaging machinery, chain and roller conveyors and cranes.
* Prioritising system faults in line with the customers operation and requirements.
* Always comply with Health & Safety legislation.
* Working at heights.
* To always ensure quality of output and accurately record all work undertaken.
* To always represent the company in a professional manner and maintain excellent customer relations.
* To adhere to the Quality processes and procedures as set out by the company.
Application Requirements
What you need to succeed:
* An Apprentice trained Maintenance Engineer with a good all round electrical and mechanical understanding.
* Experience of working with automated machinery is essential for this role.
* Happy to work at heights.
* This is a customer facing role, so you must be able to communicate effectively at all levels.
* Wiring regulations / Inspection and testing OR willing to study for these.
* 17th or 18th Edition is desirable.
