The post holder will be responsible for partnering with client groups and leading implementation of business aligned people strategies designed to transform and progress workforce capability, productivity and efficiency whilst ensuring HR systems, policies and processes are effectively delivered. They will also be responsible for driving Continuous Improvement across all areas of the business. Responsibilities Contribute actively to the development and implementation of a business aligned transformational HR strategy. Provide leadership, motivation, coaching and coordination across the client groups, helping build a high-performing team and an engaged workforce. Create clarity of purpose and deliverables with measures and on-going performance evaluation. Help making business cases for financial resources related to the improvement of workforce capability. Apply appropriate change management tools and techniques to bring about effective organisational and cultural change. Apply appropriate organisational design methodologies and assist in developing cost effective and fit for purpose organisational structures. Assist Managers in building high performing teams through identifying the support needed and delivering solutions. Assist with identifying and nurturing talent and developing succession plans across the business. Develop appropriate reward and retention strategies. Create accurate short and long-term workforce plans, ensuring that vacancies are resourced effectively. Ensure appropriate communication is delivered effectively. Provide management with data, information and recommendations to aid decision making. Truly partner with your client groups via regular presence, attending meetings etc to understand their work and needs. CIPD Qualification. 5 years' experience gained in comparable role(s). Demonstrable examples of true Business Partnering work to include transformative projects. Excellent knowledge of employment law and its application within the workplace. Strategy and change management experience. Employee relations experience. Experience in data analysis. Desirable Relevant experience gained in Manufacturing and/or Engineering environments. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing / Continuous Improvement Tools / Techniques.
