We provide a full range of diagnostic and treatment services and have a national reputation for innovative developments in healthcare, particularly in 'patient-focused' care, day surgery and maternity services. We are currently developing our main outpatient area with the aim of improving patient and staff experience.
We are looking for a Junior Sister/Charge Nurse who will be responsible for managing the day to day clinical activities carried out in the department. The role will hold key responsibility for shift management and ensuring appropriate staff and skill mix across the ward on a daily basis to ensure excellent delivery of patient care. The post holder will act as a role model for junior members of the team in the delivery of high standards of nursing care. The post holder will be a bleep holder and be expected to deal with complaints and queries from staff, patients and relatives. The post holder will also be expected to deputise for the supervisory ward Sister/Charge Nurse during periods of absence.
