Job Description ARE YOU A SENIOR HOSPITALITY INTERIOR DESIGNER LOOKING FOR A NEW OPPORTUNITY? Our client based in Gloucestershire is on the lookout for an Interior Designer to join their exciting, dynamic, and GROWING team. This studio has over 30 years of experience specializing in Brand and Concept Development, Interior, and Architectural design, project, and cost management for the Hospitality industry. Our client is looking for a creative, organised, and motivated individual with experience in the Hotel, Pub, or related Hospitality industry. This role is primarily office-based (with flexibility by negotiation). This is a fantastic opportunity for you to be able to attend site visits and own the projects. Moreover, UK and Overseas travel is required, so you'll continuously be exposed to exciting project locations. As a prospective candidate for this role, you will NEED: Ideally a Bachelor's degree in Interior Design (or related field). Experience in the Hospitality interior design sector. Proficiency in AutoCAD. Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suites. Proficiency in SketchUp. Proficiency in 3DS Max and/or InDesign and Revit would be an advantage. Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and accessibility standards. A full clean UK driving license. During this role, you will be RESPONSIBLE for: Obtaining and developing a good knowledge of industry trends and advancements including FF&E, materials and relevant technology. Involvement in the installation and implementation of design projects, ensuring quality and adherence to design specifications and client Brand Standards. Co-ordinating within the team with architects, (internal and external), contractors, and other professionals to ensure design plans are executed accurately and on time and to budget. Creating and presenting design concepts, including mood boards, colour schemes, and furniture layouts. Developing detailed drawings and specifications using CAD software, AutoCAD. (Experience with Revit would be an advantage). Collaborating with clients to determine their design and commercial requirements, functional needs, and budget constraints. Selecting and sourcing materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and accessories to create cohesive and aesthetically pleasing spaces.
