The Opportunity
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a trade qualified HD Fitter to join our team based at Murrin Murrin as a Site Supervisor. Working a 5 & 2 / 4 & 3 roster, this permanent role will allow you to access OEM training while you build a long-term career in a global company. Reporting to the Customer Support Manager, you will work as part of a team and drive the reliability of the mobile fleet while keeping an impeccable safety record.
You will be responsible for:
* All aspects of supervising a team and ensuring they are following safety and operational procedures.
* Assisting the onsite coordinator with planning and relevant paperwork.
* Providing assistance to service personnel as required with performing maintenance repairs on our equipment.
* Identifying areas for improvement and working with the customer to address any shortcomings.
* Escalating all issues to relevant teams in a timely manner.
* Maintaining open communication and a good working relationship with customers, peers, and other departments.
* Ensuring that all interactions with internal and external customers and stakeholders are professional and courteous.
To be successful in this role you will have:
* Relevant Diesel or Mobile Plant Mechanic trade qualifications.
* Previous experience in a Supervisory Role with frontline operational staff, with the desire to develop, influence, and motivate the team.
* Working knowledge of planning and scheduling with the ability to deliver in tight timeframes.
* Demonstrated background experience with Hitachi mobile equipment will be highly regarded.
* Good communication and customer service skills and the ability to build long-term relationships.
* Safety focus and abide by site safety processes.
