Teacher - Early Years Annual Salary: MPS/UPS Location: DN3 Job Type: Long-Term supply Working Hours: Full-time We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher suitable for early career professionals, to join our vibrant client, who are part of a multi-academy trust. This role involves teaching pupils in EYFS, and so a teacher with relevant skills and experience is important. Day-to-day of the role: Teach pupils across the full age and ability range of Early Years. Ensure the highest possible standards of pupil achievement, personal development, and well-being. Utilise knowledge of national strategies such as Literacy, Numeracy, and ICT to enhance teaching and learning. Employ effective use of ICT and other learning technologies to support and enhance pupils' learning experience. Maintain statutory curriculum requirements and manage assessment, recording, and reporting of pupils’ attainment and progress. Establish clear expectations and constructive working relationships within the classroom through team working and mutual support. Contribute to the corporate life of the academy, demonstrating a commitment to equality of opportunity for all pupils. Engage in continuous professional development to keep up-to-date with current educational practices and issues. Required Skills & Qualifications: Graduate with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Experience of teaching in a Primary phase, and specifically in the EYFS. High level of knowledge in current educational practice and issues in primary education. Proficiency in using ICT to support learning. Excellent classroom management skills. Strong written, oral, and communication skills. High level of organisational and planning skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and relate well to colleagues, pupils, and parents. Commitment to involvement in extra-curricular activities.
