We are seeking a dynamic Product Owner to lead the development and implementation of our solutions under Quality and Compliance, covering areas such as Laboratory Operations which includes management of Laboratory Information, Data, Instruments and Workflows (LIMS). This also includes overseeing global risk management solutions – covering the end-to-end recall process, as well as monitoring production site or vendor risks. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing a product backlog, collaborating with cross-functional teams (portfolio management, finance, manufacturing and supply chain) and ensure alignment with business goals. A relevant experience in a global CPG company is an advantage, preferably having a track record of implementing global LIMS or Risk Management solutions. Your unique contribution The responsibilities involve leading and managing an Agile Squad, overseeing the development of the product roadmap, and managing backlog prioritisation to ensure the delivery of Business Value. Your responsibilities will include: Demand Management : Gather new demands to be integrated into the backlog and translate them into Features. Backlog Management : Prioritise Product backlog and manage risks and interdependencies with other squads. Steer and drive squad delivery, facilitate day-to-day interactions within the squad. Product Lifecycle management : Contribute to product vision definition. Lead the Product Build by defining and analysing the Features/user stories and managing the agile squad delivery. Collect and consolidate Product value based on Proximity Team and GBPO’s inputs. Product Catalog Management : Ensure latest version and consistency between the product & service catalog and the overall product portfolio and communicate on changes & updates Incident Management : Lead L2/L3 incidents investigation, diagnosis and resolution Resource Management : Estimate Resource forecasts, adjust roadmap and prioritisation based on resource availability and report on actual resource utilisation Finance: Provide Product roadmap and backlog, squad’s resource needs forecast. Oversee overall funding of my scope, perform variance analysis and provide justification. Track Product’s ROI and costs Who you’ll be working with Internally, you’ll work with Product Manager, Domain Proximity Lead, Service Management, Key Users, Resources Lead, Product Teams, Squad Members and Business Process Owners to be involved in monthly Sprint plannings and quarterly product roadmap reviews. Daily stand ups with the squad. Agility is expected to adapt the ceremonies frequency to the pace of the business velocity. Externally, regular business review meetings to be conducted with our partners (editors, integrators, etc.). Involvement is expected in all aspects of the vendor relationship – selection, contract negotiation, budget and deliverables monitoring, resource management, etc. Your blend of talent This position could be right for you if you: Have strong experience in a similar role, preferably at global scale and in the CPG/FMCG industry Have strong experience in Product Management in the area of quality and compliance, or working closely with laboratories, logistics and supply chain, ideally with a Product Owner certification Are able to manage in complex and VUCA environments. Have strong understanding of agile mindset & practices Demonstrate excellent negotiation/mediation skills. Have strong communication skills, with the ability to talk with both business & technical stakeholders.
