Finlay Jude Associates are working with a leadingservice provider who specialise in the Water ,Wastewater and Environmentalindustry. This successful and growing company are now looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor .

Main responsibilities include
1. In this key role you will be commercially accountable for, with the support of the operational team, a Framework of Mechanical and Electrical projects of varying values from £10k to <£1M reporting directly to the Contracts Manager.
2. Working with the, Project managers / engineers and operational teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required levels as detailed within the Company minimum commercial standards.
3. You will ensure all systems are adhered to and will be responsible for the day-to-day administration and management of projects under your control ensuring the successful delivery of all contracts.
4. The role requires flexibility with travel required to site and the other offices.
The successful applicant will have:
5. Working knowledge of Quantity Surveying NEC3 ECC Option A and C and ECS Option A contract forms
6. Strong commercial Project Management experience, particularly negotiating, planning, estimating, costing and quoting.
7. Proven track record of budgeting and data analysis
8. Proven track record in the successful management and control of commercial terms and conditions, systems and procedures.
9. Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to write clear and precise reports, and relate complex information in a simple way to a diverse range of people.
10. Strong numeracy and financial management skills with the ability to learn estimating, tracking and costing packages.
11. A creative and innovative approach to problem solving.
12. Self-motivated leader and people manager with good influencing skills and the ability to motivate and lead colleagues on site.
13. Ability to work as part of a close-knit management team and manage various activities / projects simultaneously within deadlines – both short and long term.
14. Customer-focused approach with demonstrable experience of building and maintaining long-term partnerships and relationships with clients and their project teams.
15. A consistent and persistent approach to following processes and procedures.
16. Commitment, drive and the ability to continually improve and achieve the highest standards and best practice.
