Job Overview
We are delighted to be opening a dedicated transfer/discharge lounge for our patients at the Grange University Hospital. This superb initiative reinforces our commitment to deliver outstanding healthcare. The facility is an important phase in the patient pathway to facilitate early release of inpatient beds for new admissions and provides a calm and comfortable environment for patients to complete final treatments and discharge arrangements.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Ward Clerk with very strong interpersonal skills to come and join us and help progress and embed this new project. You will be expected to demonstrate excellent organisational skills and be flexible and adaptable in your approach to work.
You must be able to work on your own initiative, use tact and diplomacy where appropriate, and possess excellent communication skills as well as adhere to all confidentiality and information governance standards. Knowledge of hospital systems would be beneficial, although full training will be given to the successful candidate.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
