This exciting role will give you the opportunity to be part of our work alongside a range of professionals with ND expertise.
We want to hear from Nurses, Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Social Workers. We are happy to support the training of ADI-R and ADOS.
You will complete:
1. ADI-R assessments and ADOS assessments
2. Initial Neurodevelopmental assessments
3. School observations
4. Triage referrals
You will be part of an integrated MDT developing positive relationships with colleagues in Education, children, and their families to ensure we understand and meet the challenges they face when children have additional needs.

Please contact us to arrange an informal discussion. Ensure the delivery of high-quality ND assessments within the BeeU team. The work is with children and young people aged 5-18 years with significant concerns around their social communication and interaction.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. ADHD assessment involving the interpretation and integration of complex data from a variety of sources including psychological and, where appropriate, self-report measures, rating scales, direct and indirect structured observations, and semi-structured interviews.
2. Contributing to and leading on specialist assessments for children with complex social, interaction, and communication difficulties.
3. Ensuring assessments are provided in line with NICE Guidance as well as other relevant local and national documentation.
4. Demonstrating high personal standards in clinical practice.
5. Prioritising workload, allocation of work to oneself and other staff, and covering all levels of priority of work within the service.
6. Making clinical judgements backed up by clinical reasoning and recommendations regarding appropriate actions/signposting in consultation with multi-disciplinary staff and in accordance with the service specification.
7. Conducting Parental/Developmental interviews to explore the client's developmental history relating to Autism/ADHD (e.g., ADI-R).
8. Performing ADOS-2 Assessments.
9. Supporting ADHD assessments through Neurodevelopmental (ND) initial assessments.
10. Liaising with schools and other professionals.
11. Contributing to multidisciplinary team meetings.
12. Report writing: full neurodevelopmental assessments.
