Oaklands Global are currently looking to recruit a Sr Global FDM Analyst for a reputable client in the UK. This role is based in Scotland so will require a full relocate as hybrid cannot be considered.
Responsibilities
1. Day-to-day management of the FDM Program.
2. Producing and maintaining program procedures.
3. Managing event effectiveness.
4. Provide SME support to global standards on FDM events.
5. Implement event and configuration changes.
6. KPI generation and reporting.
7. Reviewing fleet trends.
8. Liaise with AOC Safety Managers and provide necessary support and information to Safety Action Groups and Safety Review Boards.
9. Liaise with FDM Gatekeepers to ensure crew contacts/feedback are effective.
10. Provide Flight Data Analysis SME support to safety investigations.
11. Liaise with FDM software vendor to ensure changes to FDM system are managed and implemented in a timely manner.
12. Presentations to internal and external customers as and when required.
13. Provide support to AOCs for customer and regulator audits as required.
Requirements
14. Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Business Management, Safety Management, Data Analytics or related degree or equivalent experience preferred.
15. Previous experience of flight data analysis in aviation.
16. Previous flying experience advantageous.
17. Familiarity with system safety, data analysis and exploitation, trending and risk management.
18. Knowledge of aviation regulations.
19. Demonstrable analytical skills and an appetite for seeking out correlations and causations between different data sets.
20. Strong written communication skills with the ability to write effective reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
21. Confident verbal communication skills and able to effectively engage with various stakeholders and present to audiences, including clients, regulators and senior leadership.
22. Attention to detail with a proven ability to prioritise multiple objectives in a fast-paced environment, with constantly shifting priorities.
23. Demonstrable proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook).
24. Demonstrable proficiency with data processing and business intelligence tools, such as Power BI.
