TEACHER OF ENGLISH (80% FTE) – FIXED TERM
Pay Range: Teachers Main/Upper Pay Scale
Actual Salary from: £25,320 - £39,267 (M1 – U3)
Start Date: January 2025
The Role
We are looking to appoint an outstanding and inspirational teacher of English. The post also provides the opportunity to teach English as an additional language for the right candidate. Experience in this area would be advantageous, although not essential.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:
* Be fully qualified to teach through the secondary range for Key Stages 3 & 4
* Demonstrate an enthusiasm for the subject which will inspire student progress
* Demonstrate a capacity to design materials that are adapted and will engage students in the learning process
* Experience of IT and a willingness to use it to plan and teach lessons
We're looking for you if you have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (Suitable for ECTs)
* Ability to teach lessons that challenge all students in English
* A passion for teaching and making a real difference to young people
* Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
