Job Title: Engineer
Department: Service
Reports To: Field Service Manager
Location: Remote - Scotland (Dundee and surrounding areas)
Overview:
To install, modify and demonstrate new dental equipment in customers' practices.
Job Responsibilities:
* Install equipment for customers by working with the dentist and other team members.
* Install equipment according to drawings agreed by the customer; use tools for assembly, fixing, electrical wiring, and plumbing.
* Ensure the equipment functions correctly by checking for leaks, noises, etc., during operation.
* Install dental equipment to manufacturers' specifications, to pre-installed services provided by others.
* Install equipment to the highest possible standard within the allocated time period.
* Install secondary devices into new/existing equipment.
* Follow all installation instructions to provide total customer satisfaction.
* Demonstrate installed equipment so the customer understands and is happy with its operation.
* Leave the working site clean and tidy wherever possible.
* Behave as a good ambassador of the company at all times, ensuring customer satisfaction for future business.
* Liaise between Installation Supervisor, Salesman, and Customer to resolve any unclear issues.
* Maintain good records of installations, company equipment, tools, car, and phone.
* Undertake cabinetry modifications and manufacturers' warranty work.
Job Skills & Experience Required:
* Minimum 3+ years of electrical experience.
* Certification of Electrical Installation work, including practical experience.
* Basic numeracy and literacy.
* Working knowledge of hydraulics, mechanical and electrical systems, x-rays, air, and water systems.
* Strong customer interpersonal skills.
