Main Responsibilities
Reporting to the Customer Service Supervisor, the role of Customer Service Coordinator will work cross-functionally within our Customer Service Team and be the initial point of contact for our customers.
Your role as a Customer Service Coordinator will include:
1. Responsibility for customer enquiries via telephone, online and email orders from initial contact through to delivery
2. Providing customers with an excellent customer service experience ensuring high level of customer care and attention at all times
3. Clear communication, both written and verbal, with internal and external stakeholders
4. Completing data entry and order processing tasks
5. Collaborating within the team and other stakeholders to clarify facts, exchange information, support colleagues and resolve queries
6. Inputting accurate customer data into the CRM system
7. Building relationships with the key stakeholders in the account base
8. Working closely with the Fleet and Capacity planners to ascertain transport and material availability
9. Ensuring customers are kept informed at all times allowing us to plan our transport fleet to meet relevant commercial demands
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for the role of Customer Service Coordinator will have experience gained within a similar role, engaging with stakeholders. Suitable candidates for the role of Customer Service Coordinator will have:
10. First class customer service and clear, concise communication skills both written and verbally
11. Ability to deal with stakeholders at all levels both internally and externally
12. Confident telephone manner
13. Superb attention to detail
14. Positive ‘can-do’ attitude
15. An approachable and engaging manner
16. Ability to demonstrate tenacity and resilience when working under pressure
17. Flexibility to work in a successful team environment
18. A desire to grow and be successful
19. Confidence in the use of IT systems including MS Word and Excel
20. Experience of Salesforce CRM advantageous but not essential (training provided)
