Hays are partnered with a Global Leading Company, who currently support the majority of hospitals in the UK. We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join their team, working out of the KT postcode.
Key Responsibilities:
* Installations of new mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and medical gas systems, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
* Conduct regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and testing of mechanical systems and equipment to ensure proper functioning, energy efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
* Troubleshoot and repair mechanical system issues, including breakdowns, leaks, and performance problems, to minimize downtime and ensure continuity of operations.
* Collaborate with other engineering disciplines, such as electrical and biomedical engineers, to coordinate system integration and ensure seamless operation.
What you need to succeed:
* Level 2 or higher City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering
* Minimum of 5 years experience
* Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and medical gas systems, as well as relevant codes and regulations.
* Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
This role is Multi-site and does require you to have a driving license.
