This is a 4 month fixed term contract of which will be reviewed at the end of the contract.
Based in the heart of Manchester, Grace Media and the Betable Group is a team with knowledge and dedication to online gaming running through its DNA. It is responsible for delivering top-class online gaming experiences for customers of over 100 online casino and bingo sites both in Great Britain and internationally. We manage everything from cutting edge marketing to regulatory compliance, from B2B account management to financial analysis, and from customer service to payments and risk. We approach all of this with an ethos of social responsibility, invention and teamwork.
You will be expected to:
* Contribute to developing a frontend for a new market leading modern platform.
* Test and debug new aspects of the build.
* Install, test and debug plugins or services including SDKs and tracking solutions.
* Act as a knowledgeable point of contact.
We need you to:
* Have 3+ years commercial experience in the web stack; HTML, CSS (pre-processing with Sass) and JavaScript.
* Have proven 3+ year’s experience with Javascript frameworks such as React.
* Ability to create pixel perfect creations from Figma designs.
* Optional: Experience using and deploying products on cloud providers (AWS) a bonus.
* Have knowledge of UX best practices and a keen interest.
* Have experience using Github for source control.
* Be an excellent communicator, both verbal and written.
* Able to work individually on assigned design briefs and collaboratively with the team.
And you must:
* Have a degree level qualification or equivalent CIM diploma or equivalent work experience.
* Be genuinely interested and passionate about web development.
* Be enthusiastic, optimistic and positive and be able to convey this, both verbally and in writing.
* Demonstrate honesty and integrity.
* Be comfortable with providing regular feedback on your work.
